ChefieAI is a cooking assistant application that provides recipe suggestions, AI-powered cooking guidance, fridge scanning, shopping list generation, and related features. The App is designed to assist and inspire home cooking. It is not a substitute for professional nutritional, dietary, or medical advice.
Please read this section carefully. ChefieAI uses artificial intelligence to generate recipes, cooking advice, ingredient suggestions, and food images. AI-generated content has inherent limitations and may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your specific circumstances.

The App and all AI-generated content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy. While ChefieAI uses your allergen and dietary preferences to filter and personalise content, you must not rely solely on the App as a safeguard against allergen exposure or dietary non-compliance. Always:
If you have a serious food allergy, coeliac disease, or any condition where accidental exposure to a food substance could cause serious harm, treat all AI-generated content as a starting point only and independently verify every ingredient.
Cooking times, temperatures, and food safety guidance are general suggestions. You are responsible for ensuring food is prepared and cooked safely. Deepskim accepts no liability for illness, injury, or adverse reactions resulting from following AI-generated cooking instructions.
Calorie counts and macronutrient estimates are approximate figures generated by AI and have not been verified by a registered dietitian or nutritionist. They should not be used for medical dietary management.
ChefieAI offers auto-renewing subscription plans that unlock Pro features. Current plans and pricing are displayed within the App.
Where a free trial is offered, it begins on the date you subscribe. You will be charged the applicable subscription price at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before it ends.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your App Store account settings after purchase.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings (Settings → [Your name] → Subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused portions of a subscription period.

You agree to use ChefieAI only for lawful personal purposes. You must not:
The ChefieAI name, logo, application design, and proprietary technology are owned by Deepskim Ltd and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
AI-generated recipes and content produced in response to your requests are provided to you for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, republish, or commercialise AI-generated content from the App without our written permission.
Content you submit to the App (such as photos for fridge scanning) remains yours. By submitting it, you grant us a limited licence to process it solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
ChefieAI does not provide medical, nutritional, dietary, or professional culinary advice. Nothing in the App constitutes professional advice of any kind.
The App relies on third-party AI systems to generate content. We do not control these systems and cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any AI-generated output. We are not responsible for errors or inaccuracies in content produced by third-party AI services.
We are not liable for any failure to perform our obligations where that failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to third-party service outages, AI provider failures, or internet disruptions.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Deepskim Ltd shall not be liable for any:
Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Deepskim Ltd, its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your reliance on AI-generated content in a manner inconsistent with the warnings provided.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law that cannot be waived by agreement, including rights available under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (England and Wales).
Before bringing any formal legal claim, you agree to give us 30 days' written notice at contact.chefieai.app describing the dispute and the resolution sought. We will attempt to resolve the dispute informally during that period.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to resolve disputes with us on an individual basis only and waive any right to bring or participate in a class action.
You may delete your account at any time from within the App (Profile → Delete Account). This permanently deletes your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse our systems.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the App or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the App after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to any statutory rights you have as a consumer in your country of residence.
